The study burden of Shanghai elementary school students has been slightly eased.

　　Shanghai Education Commission said so yesterday according to a survey covering nearly 4,000 students and more than 1,000 teachers.

　　The Shanghai Daily news reported that more students than last year said they could finish homework in less than 90 minutes every day.

　　Some officials think it's the result of the study easing regulation issued last July. But problem still exists, such as the inadequacy of extracurricular activities.
