Chinanews, Hangzhou, Feb. 10 – As Europe and North America hold carnivals in late February, and the small commodity market in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, the largest of its kind in the world, has started selling specially made toys including masks, hats and ornaments.
Countries in Europe and North America set different days for have carnivals. The most characteristic one will be celebrated in Brazil, which will fall on Feb. 17.
Toys made in Yiwu are competitive in most European and North American markets. Shi Xiaohua, a shop manager in Yiwu’s small commodity market, said that most of the goods were produced in Guangdong and Zhejiang. She said that she had five important Brazilian customers, who had already bought several containers of masks.
