Chinanews, Nanchang, October 13 – The first flock of rare migrant birds including white-fronted geese, white spoonbills wild geese and wild ducks have recently arrived at the Poyang Lake, the biggest freshwater lake in China, to spend their winter there.
Currently the birds are playing about, enjoying their first days in the lake.
At least 300 thousand migrant birds come to Poyang Lake for wintering every year, thus more of them are expected, including the cranes.
