A female panda cub was born on Friday, February 23rd, 2007. [Photo: scol.com.cn]   Feb.25 - A mother giant panda, named Jinny, gave birth to a female panda cub on Friday at the China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center, Wolong of Sichuan province, CRI reported.

 

Jinny set new records, giving birth for the first time at the age of 13 after a 324-day pregnancy, a miracle in captive panda proliferation.

 

The panda cub was the first born worldwide in 2007.
