Chinanews, Beijing, Feb.3 – It is estimated that there will be fewer sandstorms in north China this spring than in the same period last year.

 

Experts analyzed vegetation and weather pattern in north China. Possible weather changes were also taken into consideration.

 

However, there will be heavy sandstorms if strong cold waves intrude the area.

 

In the spring of 2006 alone, 18 sandstorms attacked China, including 5 very severe ones.
