Chinanews, Beijing, January 18 – More than 1,000 pieces of cultural relics have been unearthed during the construction of Olympic projects in Beijing.
Under the sites of Olympic projects, more than 700 ancient tombs of 1.18 million sq m were recovered, all of which are under careful protection right now.
These tombs date back from Western Han to late Qing dynasties, and the cultural relics include chinaware, pottery, goldware, jadeware, bronzeware, etc.
