Chinanews, Hefei, Mar. 22 – In recent days some matchmaking agencies in Hefei, Anhui Province placed several advertisements about some rich ladies, who wished to seek marriage partners, saying that these rich ladies have their own houses and cars. Our reporter visited these agencies, and found most information was fake.

 

When our reporter came to one matchmaking agency and asked a clerk to recommend one or two ladies, he smiled and brought our reporter to the manager. The manager said, “I quite understand what sort of woman you are looking for. Currently many men have similar requirements, and some of them are married. You can register in our agency now and give us 300 yuan as membership fee, and we will let you meet a rich lady this afternoon.”

 

When asked what were those rich ladies’ requirements, the manager became a little angry: “Our agency is one of the best in China, and many rich ladies have been registered here. You can pick and choose until you are fully content. These rich ladies have only one requirement, that their friends must be considerate.”

 

But the manager declined to provide any material that could prove these ladies were really rich.

 

Our reporter asked, “Your advertisements say that these rich ladies have yearly income of millions of yuan, so will you hold yourself responsible if the information is wrong?” The manager admitted, “Every agency places similar advertisements, and they will have to close down if they don’t place such ads.”
