Chinanews, Beijing, Dec. 30 – Statistics show that around 16,000 primary and secondary students died of unnatural death. That is to say, more than 40 students, the size similar to a class, disappear every day, Beijing Times reported.
Moreover, a report about the psychological qualities of the students in Beijing's colleges and universities indicates that more than 60% of the undergraduates suffer from moderate or serious psychological diseases.
These years, suicide has topped the causes of death of the youths aged at 15 to 24 accounting for 26.04%.
Recently Peking University issued a "Chinese Youths Life Education Survey Report" to start an investigation on the life education of the Chinese students and to complete the first white book about the Chinese youths' education.
The white book will cover the issues of Internet addiction, suicide, juvenile delinquency, drug addiction, and self-abasement.
