It is generally believed that men are impatient, however, cooking helps them to overcome this shortcoming. Wu, an electric appliances salesman, said he had learned a lot cooking, and maybe patience was the most important thing he had learned. "You have to pay attention to every procedure in cooking, For example, you must be very careful when cleaning and trimming vegetables, or you might get food poisoning. During cooking, you should watch the fire, or the food will be burned, That is how I learned patience from cooking every day,"said Wu.

 

Lan, a public servant, loves cooking,too. "My wife is always impressed when I go to the kitchen after a day's work. Besides, she will be more tolerant to you if you often cook for her, trust me,"said Lan with a smile.

 

Pan, who works for Guangxi Regional TV Station, went with his seven friends to a cookery school in Nanning to learn to be a professional cook. "We have to take this 1-month course, or our wives wouldn't love us any more because of our not-good-enough cooking stills, "said Pan jokingly.
