Chinanews, Shanghai, October 21 - Shanghainese have long been known for their discrimination against people from other places in China; however, a new survey finds that 91.45% responders (all 30,600 of them from the shifting population in the city) think today's Shanghainese are quite friendly, and 21.96% even think they are very warm-hearted and hospitable.
Besides Shanghainese's changed attitude, nearly all the responders say they are much more satisfied than before with their current life in Shanghai, as the city now has in a much friendlier atmosphere.
More than 36% of all responders say they would very much like to live in Shanghai in the future, and another 21.20 would have to move from the city and their hometowns due to personal reasons.
