Did you ever dream of owning a pair of "magic shoes" when you were a kid, enabling you to walk on water? Have you made efforts to turn the dream true? Recently, a girl in southwest China's Chengdu City, invented her own "magic shoes", which enable her walk on water.
The shoes, look like a pair of duck feet, are 180 cm long. People who wear them can smoothly walk on the surface of water. The inventor of the shoes is Wang Wenting, a girl who is now a high school student.
Four years ago, Wang Wenting got the idea of inventing such shoes while watching a science program on TV. She tried many materials and ideas in the next four years, and the final design was inspired by observing ducks. The shoes cost about 500 yuan, around 63 US dollars. Wang Wenting says a company has contacted her to further developing the product and marketing it.
