Chinese American TV (CATV) has chosen famous Chinese presenter Guojing as its new host. She beat off competition from celebrated rivals Chen Lu-yu and Lixia.

　　CATV told the press that after careful consideration they decided she best fitted the audience’s taste. She will be presenting a program called "Contemporary Chinese TV and Film Stars", which aims to introduce the Chinese pop scene to an American audience.

　　Guojing started her glittering career as Miss Asia and has played various roles in TV dramas and films since then. She is also a host for Chinese Central Television(CCTV ).

　　Chinese American TV is headquartered in New York. Set up in 1975, it claims the title of the oldest Chinese TV station in the USA.
