British superstar Sarah Brightman is promoting another live concert DVD in Los Angeles. Following 1988's "Sarah Brightman in Concert," 1999's "One Night in Eden, " and 2000's "La Luna", now comes "Sarah Brightman - Live from Las Vegas."

　　The video was recorded during Brightman's concerts promoting her latest all-new studio album, the Middle East-flavored "Harem." She said, "Well, what I've found was, with this 'Harem' world tour I've been doing - I've been to all sorts of different countries, as well as the United States - the audience everywhere were enjoying it so much that I felt that I wanted it to be filmed for a DVD and to make a CD of a live evening."

　　Some fans may think it's hard to imagine the exotic "Harem" numbers comfortably sitting alongside such Brightman standards as "Phantom of the Opera" and "Time to Say Goodbye". But the singer said they're all great pieces that work as surprisingly good companions.

　　People will soon have the chance to see the film version of "Phantom of the Opera". Brightman giggled at the suggestion she should have been asked to do a cameo in the movie version of "Phantom". But the singer says, she will see the movie. She said, "I'm sure I will, at some point, because I love watching movies and it's part of my own entertainment. So, yes, I will sometime in the future."

　　But fans of Brightman's legitimate stage work have been long-starved. Most last saw her in the original London cast of "Phantom" nearly 20 years ago. Will she ever return to the theatre? Sarah said, "People always ask me this. I found that in the last few years, because of my recording career and going out on tour with this, it's been sort of all-consuming. And I'm sure though, in the future, if the right thing comes up in the theatre, I'll instinctively know if I want to go and do it, then I would go and do this. But that hasn't happened at the moment."

　　In the movie "Phantom of the Opera", big-screen actors Emily Rossum and Gerard Butler will perform the roles originally created by Brightman and stage veteran Michael Crawford.
