Solo concerts light up Beijing night

　　Pop fans in Beijing had a musical feast on Saturday as Hong Kong duo Alan Tam and Hacken Lee, and Singaporean idol Stefanie Sun all kicked off their mainland tour on the same night.


　　The 54-year-old Alan Tam and his protege Hacken Lee staged a show titled Zuo Lin You Li, or Neighbors, in the Worker’s Stadium.


　　The concert, which has sold out its last 28 shows in Hong Kong last year, seemed to be less popular in Beijing.


　　On the other side of the capital, Singapore singing sensation Stefanie Sun, who has made a recent comeback after a year’s break, performed at the Capital Gymnasium.


　The 25-year-old, who started her singing career only four years ago, used all her considerable charm to win the hearts of her Beijing fans.
