Chinanews, Sanya, Feb. 2 – 2007 Mr. World Finals will be held in the holiday resort city Sanya, Hainan Province in March, the Sanya municipal Government announced on Wednesday. Contestants from 83 countries will participate in this year's event.
According to Hainan Daily, most participants will arrive in Sanya on March 9. It's reported that the contest was another international activity since the city has organized Miss World Contest for three times.
The participants will join in various activities including body building, tournament on the South China Sea and survival exercises in tropical forests. Senior executives of the organizing committee hope the world can better understand China through such kind of activities.
The winner of the Mr. World Finals will be selected on March 31st, and there will be 100 million people enjoying this "visual feast."
