Chinanews, Beijing, January 12 – According to China youth & Children Research Center, the education expenditure of a kid from elementary school to senior high in Beijing is at least 100 thousand yuan.
Nowadays, education has become a burden on ordinary Chinese families, even many from the middle class are complaining about expensive education.
Though education expenditure is still lower than food expenditure, it still averagely takes up some 21% of all the expenses in raising a child, and its proportion tends to grow with the educational level of the kids.
