Thai princess donates 10 thousand yuan to primary school in Xinjiang

　　Visiting Thai princess, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, donated 100,000 yuan (12,000 US dollars) Wednesday to a primary school in Xinjiang’s Hotan region after visiting it that morning.

　　The school, which is located under the Kunlun Mountains and on the edge of the desert, has only 100 students.

　　When the princess came into the classroom of grade one, the Chinese teacher was teaching how to write a written request for leave. She stood at the door and listened, then she joined the children and asked them about their study.

　　Later the princess posed for pictures with the school children.
