“ There be …”句型是初中英语的重点句型之一，现将其用法归纳如下：
一、 be 动词的形式
句中 be 动词用单数形式还是用复数形式，由与其最靠近的用作主语的名词的数来决定。例如：

五 . “ There be …”句型误用例析
1. 误： There will have a meeting next Wednesday.
正： There will be a meeting next Wednesday.
分析：“ There be …”表示“某处存在有”，不能与 have / has
（有）互换使用。
2. 误：－ What are in the basket？ － There're some apples.
正：－ What's in the basket？ － There're some apples.
分析：疑问代词 what 作主语时，谓语动词一般用第三人称单数形式。
3. 误： There will be much rainy the day after tomorrow.
