Questions 11 to 13 are based on the passage you have just heard.

答案为c。本题要求考生捕捉位于第二段的细节内容，难度不算高，但考生要注意听清office cleaner（办公室清洁工），并知道该短语表达的是与office worker（办公室人员）和social worker（社工）是完全不同的概念。
12. Why did Susan choose to do night work?
a. Because she could not sleep well at night.
b. Because she hoped to earn more money.
c. Because she could not find a daytime job.
d. Because she needed a change and a lighter job.
答案为d。本题也是要求考生辨认重要细节，难度同样不高。关键要听懂文中以下的两个句子（尤其是下划线部分的短语）：

答案为d。本题要求考生捕捉字里行间的信息。Susan把所有的社交活动都安排在6个休息日之中，这句话间接地提供了另一条信息：其余8天她不参加社交活动。这一题要求考生在瞬间从正面的信息中领会其反面意思，有一定的难度。
根据短文部分的特点，结合范例所揭示出来的具体情况，我们认为考生考前应采取如下对策：
1．训练对正常语速听力材料的理解能力。
2．拓宽知识面，多掌握一些背景知识，熟悉常见的听力短文题材。
3．提高分析、综合、推理、判断等能力和瞬间反应的准确率。
做题时至少需要采用以下几个对策：
1．预览选项。利用正式听音之前的时间预览一遍选项可以帮助考生预测短文部分内容和提问形式。
2．纪录事实。听音时要根据已预测到的内容有目的的纪录有关的事实。当然时间、地点、人物等诸如此类的内容即使在不在预测之列也应尽量记录下来。
3．听清问题。这是解题的关键。解题是听音的目的，如果听不清或没听懂问题，则容易发生答案错误。
