本题是测试将来事实相反的虚拟语气。谓语动词可以用were to+V,或should+V。
eg: If you should/were to see Mary,what would you tell her?

本题测试虚拟语气的倒装。当虚拟语气条件句中的谓语动词含were,had,should时，可以省略IF，将这些词移至主语前面。

本题测试含蓄虚拟条件句。句中“I have left them on the table at home” 相当于“if i had not left them on the table at home”,因此前面主句中的谓语动词为A。

4.a
本题测试错综时间虚拟条件句。从句与过去事实相反，主句与现在的情况相反。在从句和主句所指时间各不相同的情况下，主句和从句中谓语动词的虚拟语气要作调整。句末尾的now就是表示。

suggest 引导的从句要用虚拟语气。should+V ,should可省略。

recommend 引导的从句都要用虚拟语气，结构和suggest相同。

本题测试主语从句的虚拟语气。在“ It is necessary that -----” 这样的结构中，谓语动词要用虚拟语气，should+V ，should可以省略。
