波尔：一直想上一堂不用说中文的英语课，啊哈，现在终于实现了！今天“飞扬英语”讲的是小学课本上的一个故事，请同学们尝试用英语回答“课文”最后提出的问题。                      

    1.Once Tylers，an ancient Greek businessman，was driving a group of  mules crossing a river，the mules were carrying salt.
 
    2.When the mules came to the middle of the river，one mule accidentally  fell  down  in  the water.
  
    3.After that，whenever the mule was crossing a river，it would tumble down， no matter how people stopped it.
  
    4.The servant told Tylers，“The mule has developed a bad habit which can’t be got rid of.”
  
    5.Tylers said，“It can be got rid of if we let it carry cotton next time.”
  
    6.However，when  it  was carrying cotton crossing a river，it tumbled down as usual.
  
    7.The servant told Tylers this again. Tylers said，“Be patient.”
  
    8.Before long，when crossing rivers with goods，the mule no longer tumbled.

    Answer：Cotton can absorb water. After the mule tumbled down in the water，the cotton got much heavier than before.
