作者简介　　凯瑟琳·菲力普斯（1631-1664）虽然在当今已经鲜为人知，但在17世纪的英国诗歌界有一定的影响和知名度。她和丈夫詹姆士·菲力普斯所建立的诗歌社团“友谊协会”包括诗人亨利·沃恩、杰利米·泰勒和作曲家 亨利·洛斯。在协会中人们称她为奥琳达。她的早期诗作发表于沃恩在1651年出版的诗集中，她的其它诗歌在她去世后于1667年出版。她的作品多表现出传统的虔诚和伤感，诗人亚伯拉罕·考利为她作了一首品达式的哀歌，约翰·济慈在致雷诺兹的信中抄录了一首她的诗。

Hence Cupid! with your cheating toys,
Your real griefs, and painted joys,
