Then there was a famine in the days of David three years， year after year； and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered， It is for Saul， and for his bloody house， because he slew the Gibeonites.

　　21：2 原来这基遍人不是以色列人，乃是亚摩利人中所剩的。以色列人曾向他们起誓，不杀灭他们，扫罗却为以色列人和犹大人发热心，想要杀灭他们。大卫王召了他们来，And the king called the Gibeonites， and said unto them； （now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel， but of the remnant of the Amorites； and the children of Israel had sworn unto them： and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.）

　　21：3 问他们说，我当为你们怎样行呢。可用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢。

　　Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites， What shall I do for you？ and wherewith shall I make the atonement， that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD？

　　21：4 基遍人回答说，我们和扫罗与他家的事并不关乎金银，也不要因我们的缘故杀一个以色列人。大卫说，你们怎样说，我就为你们怎样行。

　　And the Gibeonites said unto him， We will have no silver nor gold of Saul， nor of his house； neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said， What ye shall say， that will I do for you.

　　21：5 他们对王说，那从前谋害我们，要灭我们，使我们不得再住以色列境内的人，And they answered the king， The man that consumed us， and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel，

　　21：6 现在愿将他的子孙七人交给我们，我们好在耶和华面前，将他们悬挂在耶和华拣选扫罗的基比亚。王说，我必交给你们。

　　Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us， and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul， whom the LORD did choose. And the king said， I will give them.

　　21：7 王因为曾与扫罗的儿子约拿单指着耶和华起誓结盟，就爱惜扫罗的孙子，约拿单的儿子米非波设，不交出来。

　　But the king spared Mephibosheth， the son of Jonathan the son of Saul， because of the LORD's oath that was between them， between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.

　　21：8 却把爱雅的女儿利斯巴给扫罗所生的两个儿子亚摩尼，米非波设，和扫罗女儿米甲的姊姊给米何拉人巴西莱儿子亚得列所生的五个儿子But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah， whom she bare unto Saul， Armoni and Mephibosheth； and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul， whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite：

　　21：9 交在基遍人的手里。基遍人就把他们，在耶和华面前，悬挂在山上，这七人就一同死亡。被杀的时候正是收割的日子，就是动手割大麦的时候。

　　And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites， and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD： and they fell all seven together， and were put to death in the days of harvest， in the first days， in the beginning of barley harvest.

　　21：10 爱雅的女儿利斯巴用麻布在磐石上搭棚，从动手收割的时候直到天降雨在尸身上的时候，日间不容空中的雀鸟落在尸身上，夜间不让田野的走兽前来糟践。

　　And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth， and spread it for her upon the rock， from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven， and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day， nor the beasts of the field by night.

　　21：11 有人将扫罗的妃嫔爱雅女儿利斯巴所行的这事告诉大卫。

　　And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah， the concubine of Saul， had done.

　　21：12 大卫就去，从基列雅比人那里将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨搬了来。是因非利士人从前在基利波杀扫罗，将尸身悬挂在伯珊的街市上，基列雅比人把尸身偷了去。

　　And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabeshgilead， which had stolen them from the street of Bethshan， where the Philistines had hanged them， when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa：

　　21：13 大卫将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨从那里搬了来，又收殓被悬挂七人的骸骨，And he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son； and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged.
