Types of Tears

作者: 时间: 2020-12-23

We cry a lot. Starbucks out of soy milk? Get a hankie. TiVo misses the end of "According to Jim"? Here come the waterworks! What can we say, we're an emotional wreck. Our therapist tells us that talking about it helps, so we've listed several searches causing us stress. Please note: Not all are sad tears. Some are happy. So, you know, don't cry for us...
   Tears of Joy
All hail the underdog! George Mason's shocking victory over mighty UConn had us shedding sweet tears of happiness. Searches on George Mason basketball jumped 294% and into our top 500 Searches.
   Tears of Rage
Scarlett Johansson surged 5,094% after she was announced FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World. Scarlett's cute and all, but what about Ariel from "The Little Mermaid"? She's been the hottest chick in Hollywood for years and never gets the recognition. Darn, this makes us mad!
   Tears of Apathy
Searches shot skyward after "Ocean's Thirteen," second sequel to the remake of “Ocean’s Eleven,” was announced. Yee-haw, run that franchise into the ground, boys!
   Tears of Sarcasm
News of Star Jones' breast lift put us in a cynical place, but it was her publicist's comments that Ms. Jones was "recovering wonderfully" that had us clapping sarcastically for hours. Interest in our brave little Star-let soared 942%.
   Tears of Sorrow
Lovable, huggable, and highly accessible Barry Bonds says his "life is in shambles." Searches on the beefy slugger shot up 37%, and our personal interest in the soothing power of ice cream and rainbows surged as well.
