J-10 series are by now the most advanced fighters developed by China. It is learned that the Chinese air force has been equipped with the first batch of J-10 fighter.
Benefited from the state-of-the-art technology, J-10 would turn out superior in many aspects to the F-16 and Mirage 2000 dominating the 1980s.
According to Geng Ruguang, deputy general manager of the China Aviation Industry Corporation I (AVIC I), China has become the world's fourth country that is capable of developing on its own advanced fighter planes, engines and missiles.
