Chinanews, Beijing, March 10 – Beijing Consumers' Association released the result of its survey on the quality of commercial residential housings in Beijing on March 7, finding that 70.4% of the responders believe the housing prices in Beijing will keep rising, and only 5.2% of them think it might drop.
The survey was started in the last quarter of 2006, and covered 2,300 responders in 23 different apartment buildings.
More than 79% of the responders believe the reasonable average price for residential houses in Beijing should be between 3,000 yuan and 6,000 yuan per sq m.
Some 51.5% of the responders are not very satisfied with their current housings, as they only mark their housing condition with “3”(full mark being 5).
