Several property agencies believe instead of implementing too many policies to suppress demands, including interest rate hike and second-hand housing tax, the government should work hard to increase supply. Han Shitong, an expert on the property industry, agrees to this point of view. “The government should supply more land, and encourage real estate developers to build more small-sized housings,” said Han.
