Chinanews, Shanghai, December 22 – Flower market has hit a new high with the arrival of Dongzhi (Arrival of Winter, which will fall on December 22), Christmas and New Year's Day.

 

Statistics show that about 600 million flowers were sold in the city this year, even more than the figure in Tokyo, which was considered to be the biggest flower consumer in Asia.

 

Imported flowers are the most popular in Shanghai, though they are also the most expensive.
