Oct. 26 - China Aviation Supplies Import and Export Group Corporation signed a framework agreement with the European aircraft maker Airbus to buy 150 A320 series airliners in Beijing on Thursday.

 

Chinese President Hu Jintao held talks with the visiting French President Jacques Chirac in Beijing on Thursday. The agreement was signed after the talks. It is one of 14 cooperation agreements signed on Thursday which range from aviation, nuclear power utilization to prevention of infectious diseases.

 

China and France also signed a joint statement on Thursday.
