Chinanews, Nanning, April 17 - In China, private image consultants used to be available to social celebrities only, but nowadays, most of the well-off Chinese can enjoy their service.

 

Take Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as an example. When the first private image consulting agency was founded there 4 years ago. At first, it gave advice only on how to dress oneself and the matching of colors of the clothes. Today, its service has extended to advice on hairstyle design, shopping and etiquette.

 

It takes between 200 and 10,000 yuan every year to hire a private image consultant, depending on the content of the service. That is to say, even college students can afford it.

 

"Now we have more than 1,000 clients, including government officials, enterprise owners, white-collar workers and students, particularly female government officials, as appearance and etiquette are of great importance to them," said Feng, the manager of the agency.

 

Wang, 55,the manager of a livestock company there, acting on the advice of her private image consultant, puts on red clothes, which makes her look much younger.
