Chinanews, Guangzhou, Apr. 10 – China's Ministry of Health and Health Department of Guangdong Province have jointly sent an expert team to make a through investigation of the blood-selling incident in Guangdong Province.
Officials from the health departments have also confirmed gangs illegally organizing blood selling in the province. They also reveal that activities have been launched to fight against such practices.
The media revealed on last Thursday that there are many professional blood “donors” in the city of Jieyang. It is also reported that gang bosses can earn 3,000-4,000 yuan every month through the blood sale.
