Chinanews, Shanghai, Mar. 23 – Zhao Xudong, a doctor from Tongji University revealed that 37% of Shanghaiese face psychological crisis.
Zhao said, when encountering pressures or feeling uncomfortable, people may have mental problems. But all kinds of anxieties can affect people little if they can control their temper. He revealed that everyone can encounter mental problems, but not everyone will suffer from mental diseases.
He was also worried about non-native Shanghainese having mental problems. Rich people and newlyweds are particularly likely to encounter mental problems, like lack of confidence, low family status of women, and cultural divergence in transnational marriage.
Zhao reminded young people to change their social judgments of “happiness”. He pointed out that if one has wants to make some achievement, one will have to give up something as some sort of sacrifice.
