Chinanews, Feb.27 - A research project investigating the sex lives of Chinese middle-aged couples was recently launched in Beijing.
Initiated by the China Population Communication Center and Eli Lilly, the project will use public surveys to assess the intimate lives of middle-aged couples.
Professor Ma Xiaonian, the project's consultant and a senior member of the Chinese Sex Science Society, said sex plays an important role in maintaining long-term relationships. He hopes the results will lead to scientific solutions for the marriages crisis among the middle-aged.
