Chinanews, Shanghai, January 11 – A survey on the nutritious conditions of kids in Shanghai reveal that 50% of girls there are suffering from weight problems. Some 10% of them are too fat, and another 10% too thin.
Obviously, Shanghainese still need to know more about nutritious diet, as 70.4% of the kids have an unbalanced diet of too much junk food like hamburger and soft drinks.
Over-dieting is a problem among many girls, too, which might lead to severe eating disorders like anorexia .
Apart from weight problems, the lack of micronutrients, especially calcium, is haunting the girls, although some 93.1% of the responders drink milk every day. Doctors suggest that parents should offer their kids more milk to solve the problem.
