Chinanews, Beijing, January 15 – Huang Ke, who lives in Wangjing Area, Beijing, has treated no less than 20,000 people to hearty meals in the last 7 years.

 

Huangs' apartment number, 607, has been very well known in Wangjing Area, as at dinner time every day, at least 10 guests can be seen enjoying a free feast in the 300-sq-m apartment, including public servants and migrant workers.

 

Huang, who came to Beijing from Chongqing in 1983, now is the president of an investment company. In his belief that people should be true to each other, he started his hospitable practice in 1999.

 

“I like making friends. When I travelled in Qinghai, the farmers there treated me as if I were one of their family members, thus I decided to pass the good will on in Beijing. Don't forget hospitality is one of Chinese people's best virtues,”said Huang.

 

Now Huang together with his apartment has become a legend, with his delicious beef stew. Some of those who have benefited from his hospitality have even jointly published a not-for-sale magazine with the name of The Guest of Huang to tell the world about Huang's hospitality.
