In fact, many young people in China feel bored with Christmas parties. Thus hundreds of people applied for the “childish Christmas”activity, after the iniator putting the information on an online forum. Some of them have even started to practice childhood games in anticipation of the activity.

 

“In fact, we all feel homesick for the happiness of our childhood, ”said Zhao, the initiatior. “Besides, I want a change this Christmas, not just parties.”

 

Thus Zhao choose to spend Christmas this year in the park on carrousels and see-saws. After he published his idea on the forum, he found that many people would like to join him, so he finally decided to organize the activity.

 

Experts think that it is good for Shanghainese to add something novel; into Christmas celebration, an imported festival in China, to give it a distinct Chinese feature.
