Creative courtship styles are now popular among young white collars in China. Chinanews, Beijing, Dec. 13 – “Please Marry Me!” A large electronic billboard outside a room of Beijing Hotel flashed these words.
The billboard didn’t belong to Beijing Hotel. It was made by Mr. Zhou in Beijing to propose to his sweetheart, Miss Yang. “I rented a standard room just opposite my girlfriend’s office. I put this billboard outside the window, and then I sent short messages to ask her to read,” he said.
The words could also turn into images of flowers and hearts, which attracted many passersby. When his girlfriend was about to leave her office, Zhou waited for her outside 99 roses in hands.
“If she agrees, I will make her the housemaster of our family,” said Zhou. He finally talked with her through interphones, which made Yang feel confused.
“What are you doing here?” She asked when she saw her boyfriend and his billboard. She was a little shy, with her hands covering her face.
“Please marry me!” Zhou kneeled down on his one knee, and took out an exquisite ring. She nodded her head, and promised to be the housemaster.
