The China Drum Festival was held at the Miao Village of the Dehang Scenic Spot in west Hunan province on June 28, 2005. 　　A Miao maiden playing the drum to welcome guests at the China Drum Festival held at the Miao Village of the Dehang Scenic Spot in west Hunan province on June 28, 2005. It is a rare festival with a theme of singular percussion instrument - drum. More than 1,000 drummers from over 100 drum teams including one from Taiwan participated in the festival and staged their performances of drum.
