Felix Trinidad announced his retirement following his loss to Winky Wright by a unanimous decision in a middleweight fight last week.

　　The 32-year-old boxer retired in 2002, only to return to the ring two years later, but this time he insists his decision is final.

　　Trinidad, who beat Ricardo Mayorga in his comeback fight last October, was hoping to set up a fight with Bernard Hopkins.

　　He was a world champion in three different weight categories - welterweight, light middleweight and middleweight - and finished his 15-year career with a record of 42-2 with 35 knockouts.
