　　World No.1 Lin Dan has cruises into the third round of the Singapore Open badminton tournament.

　　The top-seed Lin Dan beat South Korea's Jang Young Soo in straight sets of 15-10, 15-6. Lin will play Singapore's Ronald Susilo in the next stage, who ousted Malaysia's Wong Choong Hann 15-3, 15-9.

　　Meanwhile, youngster Chen Yu defeated fellow Chinese Xia Xuanze 15-12,15-5 for a place in the last 16. Chen will take on second-seeded Kenneth Jonassen of Denmark in the third round.

　　Also through to the third round were Gong Weijie and Bao Chunlai.
