Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova each won three trophies at the Pro Tennis Choice Awards.

　　Federer was awarded the ATP’s Player of the Year after winning three Grand Slam events and 11 singles titles in the past year.

　　The Swiss also won the Fans’ Favorite Award and was named the Stefan Edberg Sportsman of the Year.

　　Russia’s teenager Sharapova won the WTA Tour Player of the Year after winning her first Grand Slam event at Wimbledon and claiming four titles.

　　She also received the Most Improved Player award and the Fans’ Favorite award.

　　Meanwhile, Andy Roddick received the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year Award; Serena Williams and Tommy Haas were the Comeback Players of the Year.

　　The ATP’s Most Improved award went to Joachim Johansson, and Tatiana Golovin and were named Newcomers of the Year.
