Chinese teenager Ding Junhui whitewashed world Number 9 Peter Ebdon 5-0 to secure his berth in the last 16 at the China Open snooker tournament.

　　Ding, currently the top player in China, ousted Mark Davis of England 5-2 in the first round game.

　　The 17-year-old became the only Chinese player to enter the last 16 after Liang Wenbo lost to Welshman Mark Williams 5-0 in Tuesday’s game.
