I Want to Be…

Somebody asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up. Well, the answer is: I'm not sure what I want to be, because I want to do many jobs.

When I was young,! wanted so much to be a dentist. Why? Because my teeth were not good, so I often had to pay visits to the dentist. I had to obey whenever the dentist said, "Open your mouth" or "close your mouth", and once I had a tooth pulled out! So I thought to myself, I would really like to make young chil-dren open their mouths and release the pain in their teeth. Maybe sometimes I will tell them their bad, painful teeth need to be pulled out. Some of them might be frightened and run right away, as I did!"

Now, I want to be a teacher, because I think teachers are among the most respected people. Our teachers do their best to ed-ucate children, and most of their time is spent on students. When my class teacher comes into the classroom, all the noisy students become quiet at once, and begin digging into their books. When-ever my classmates do something wrong, or don't study very well, she has to call them to her office and teach them how to be-have better. She also has to issue and carefully check our home-work, and discuss problems concerning education with the stu-dents and their parents. When students graduate, they won't for-get their teachers who have taught them so much knowledge and to be good children.

So, these two jobs are what I want to do. Who knows what I will become? Maybe a dentist, or a teacher, or perhaps something entirely different!
